Meet Dr. Elias Logothetis
Dr. Elias Logothetis is double board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery. He is on staff at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, including its Wound Care Center, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway, and United Surgical Group.
Dr. Logothetis earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey before obtaining his medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
He completed a comprehensive three-year Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgical Residency at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey, where he served as Chief Resident. During his training, he gained extensive experience in foot and ankle reconstruction, bunion correction, trauma, arthritic joint disorders, Achilles tendon reconstruction, minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopy, sports medicine injuries, diabetic limb salvage, and advanced wound care.
Dr. Logothetis is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and a Diplomate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He remains committed to continuing medical education and staying current with the latest advancements in podiatric medicine and surgery. He has also contributed to multiple national conferences and peer-reviewed medical publications. Dr. Logothetis remains actively involved with the Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgical Residency Program, where he enjoys teaching and mentoring future podiatric physicians and surgeons.
As the founder of Prime Podiatry, Dr. Logothetis is dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based foot and ankle care to patients of all ages. He believes in taking the time to listen to his patients, thoroughly explain treatment options, and develop individualized treatment plans that help patients stay active and maintain a high quality of life.
Outside of the office, Dr. Logothetis enjoys staying active, spending time with his wife and daughter, and being with family and friends.
